Great Tips For Choosing Effective Web Advertising

Introduction

This article emphasizes the fact that traditional ways of web promotion are fading. We are uncounsciously told by ourselves NOT to pay attention to banners. Pay per Click can have results if you know the right keywords and can afford to pay for them. Email marketing is still nice, but most people don't even know how to write a line subject to grab the recipient's attention.

The article also explains that there are alternative ad formats that can grab our atention in a most effective way. I have compiled a list of places where you could make use of them, both freely or for a very reasonable price. This list was included into my Agloco promotion site.

Even if you are not interested in Agloco (and you should because it is, IMHO, the best opportunity on the web today) you'll love these resources.

1. Why Traditional Advertising Formats are Bad?

Traditional ways of web advertising like banners, commercial email messages and (oh, Lord!) surfing are not effective anymore. They've lost their efficiency and nobody pays attention to them nowadays.

If you don't believe me, just answer a single question: What was the last time your attention was really driven by a banner and you CLICKED?

2. Who am I and Why You Should Trust Me?

My name is Eric Savanda. I'm a sociologist, web marketer and also an I.T. professional working in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I also love cats, but who cares?

Brazilians are not very fond of home business opportunities. Most people don't even know they exist. And they tend to see any efforts related to MLM or affiliate systems as a way of cheating fools to quickly get them rid of their money.

Even so, I was able to successfully build multiple streams of income with local systems. I didn't get rich and the revenue I could get from the web is about 30% of my total income. Not bad, for a guy who until a year ago didn't know anything about home biz opportunities.

As anyone learning new skills in an unknown area I made several mistakes and lost a lot of time and money. But this time and money were not totally lost. I learned a lot from my mistakes.

3. Going Global

The first thing I learned was that I would never make a substantial amount of money if I limited my efforts to local web marketing. The Web is a global phenomenon and to make big money one should become global as well.

So, I started studying and modelling the so called Internet "gurus". Well, I found a lot of them to be very smart. Too smart for me... Their goal was just to sell their products. They didn't care if you couldn't repeat the incredible success they were bragging about all the time.

But there were a few I found really sincere and professional. People like Ken Evoy, Mike Rasmussen, Benjamin Fitts, Janet Legere, Armand Morin and Mike Filsaime are the best source of information a newbie like me could find. I would like to publically thank them here. They are GREAT.

If there's something I've learnt from them is the importance of choosing the best possible ways to market and advertise your product without spending all your bucks as you could easely do if, for example, you use Google's pay per click and don't have a serious tracking and evaluating system to measure the return of your PPC investments.

It makes no difference whether you are using paid or free ways to promote your business. In both cases you should be able to pick those tools and resources that will bring you the best ROI (return of investment).

4. There's a Better Way to Promote Your System

Something I noticed, is that many of them like to use alternative ways to promote their products, courses or services. Of course they have huge opt-in lists. But how did they build their lists? They had to promote them too? Didn't they?

No banners, no FFA ads, no spam. I was able to find some of the ways these gurus use to promote their products or to make their lists grow. I could even find a free site (well, as always there's also a paid alternative) where you can have a list of the best places for advertising. Places that will give you the best return for your investment. Even if the investment was only filling a web form.

5. By the Way... Do You know Agloco? (No, I don't want to sell it to you)

To help my Agloco network, which is already becoming huge (I'm among the 0.42% nearer the top of all downlines with hundreds of referrals), I created a specific page about the best places for advertising relevant to web marketers and included it into my promoting site. If you don't know Agloco, I strongly recommend you to download the free ebook I wrote in order to explain this revolutionary system in details.

But this article is not intended to promote my Agloco site. If you are not interested in Agloco (or if you're already a member like almost all web marketing gurus) you'll still benefit going to my "how-to-promote" page and learn about the many alternatives you have for promoting any profitable web income system or afilliate program.
